Why should we do an engagement photoshoot?
An engagement session is the perfect way to capture your love story in a relaxed, natural way—without the time pressure of your wedding day. It’s also a beautiful chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and build a connection with your photographer before the big day.
When is the best time to schedule our shoot?
Golden hour—just after sunrise or just before sunset—is the most magical time for soft, romantic light. But I’m happy to work with your schedule and help choose a time and location that brings your vision to life.
Where should we take our engagement photos?
Montreal is full of stunning backdrops! From charming cobblestone streets in Old Montreal to dreamy nature spots like Mount Royal or Le Plateau parks—I’ll help you find the perfect location that fits your personality and style.
What should we wear?
Wear outfits that reflect who you are as a couple and that make you feel confident and comfortable. Soft neutrals, flowy fabrics, and coordinating (not matching) colors always look great on camera. I also offer a wardrobe guide to help you plan.
How long does the session last?
Most engagement sessions last between 1–1.5 hours. This gives us enough time to explore multiple spots, have fun, and capture a mix of candid and posed moments.
How many images will we receive and when?
You’ll receive a curated gallery of high-resolution, professionally edited images—usually within 2 to 3 weeks. A sneak peek is always shared within a few days because I know how exciting it is to see the magic!
Can we bring our dog or props?
Yes, absolutely! Your engagement session should feel personal and fun—whether that includes your furry friend, champagne, signs, or something unique to your story.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Montreal weather can be unpredictable—but don’t worry. We can reschedule if needed or adapt the shoot with umbrellas or cozy indoor options for an intimate, editorial look.
Can you photograph in English, Spanish, or French?
¡Sí! Oui! Yes! I’m a trilingual photographer, and I love making every couple feel at home and fully understood—whether you speak English, Spanish, French, or a mix of them all.
How do we book our engagement session?
You can contact me directly through the contact form, email, or Instagram. Once we choose a date, a signed contract and a deposit officially reserve your session.
