Paméla & Whole
About the event
On March 29th, Paméla and Whole said “yes” to forever in the most genuine and heartfelt way through an intimate civil ceremony at the Palais de Justice de Montréal. Their wedding day was a powerful reminder that love doesn’t need extravagance to be deeply moving. All it needs is two people, fully present, choosing each other with intention.
As a wedding photographer who specializes in small, meaningful celebrations, I always feel honoured to be invited into these quiet, sacred moments. From the moment I met Paméla and Whole, I could feel how strong their bond was grounded in trust, laughter, and a deep sense of understanding. They wanted their day to reflect that simplicity and truth, and that’s exactly what it did.
The Palais de Justice de Montréal is often overlooked when people think of romantic wedding venues, but I’ve come to appreciate its quiet elegance. The light that filters through the large windows, the polished marble interiors, and the gentle echoes in the hallways all contribute to a space that feels peaceful and grounded perfect for an intimate union like Paméla and Whole’s.
Their ceremony was small, with just a few witnesses in attendance. And yet, the emotion in the room could fill an entire cathedral. As they stood side by side, hands clasped, exchanging soft words and loving glances, there was no doubt about the strength of their love. It was a celebration of partnership, resilience, and the quiet kind of romance that doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone.
Paméla wore a chic, minimalist outfit that suited the tone of the day perfectly elegant, confident, and glowing. Whole, equally dapper, stood proudly at her side, and the way he looked at her said everything. As a photographer, I often search for that unspoken connection between couples. With them, it was effortless. Every moment unfolded naturally, and my camera simply followed their rhythm.
After the ceremony, we stepped outside for portraits around Old Montreal. The city still held a hint of winter chill in the air, but the sun peeked through the clouds just enough to bathe them in soft light. The textures of the historic stone buildings, quiet alleyways, and cobblestone streets created a romantic atmosphere that felt straight out of a movie. We took our time—no rush, no pressure—just gentle strolls, shared smiles, and stolen kisses between the chaos of everyday life.
What I loved most about Paméla and Whole’s wedding was how true it was to them. No big production, no distractions—just love, commitment, and a desire to start their life together on their own terms. These kinds of intimate weddings have a certain magic to them. They allow space for vulnerability, for quiet joy, and for the kind of storytelling that focuses on emotion over aesthetics. And those are the stories I love to tell.
Their day may have been small in size, but it was enormous in meaning. And as their photographer, I was reminded once again why I do this work: to capture real love, in all its beautiful, simple glory.
